What happens during a treatment?
A series of questions are asked about your medical history and lifestyle. This is to ascertain if there are any reason why you may not be able to have a treatment. This consultation is purely confidential. You will be given the option of whether you would like an Indian head massage with or without oil. After this you will be seated on a chair. The massage will be covering areas of the back, shoulders, arms, neck, head & face.
What do I do during the treatment?
Just relax & enjoy! If you feel like you are 'nodding off' don't worry, Cleo will be supporting your head.
What happens after a treatment? Will I experience any after effects?
It is strongly recommended that you drink lots of water after your treatment. As the massage will be releasing toxins from your body. By drinking water this helps hydrate the body & enables the toxins to be released via urination.Also eat a light meal if your treatment is before lunch or dinner.
You may experienced an increase in urination, increase bowel movements, an increase in energy or you may feel tired. You may even find that your presenting problem may get worse but this would normally only last for 24 hours. This is a good sign. Many people are not advised that this may happen after a treatment and are put off. They then think the therapy has not helped them. But this is good news as it means the issue is coming to the surface and is released. Also it means you are responding well to the treatment and your body has vitality!
