Hello and welcome
I thought it would be nice to tell you a little about myself.Excuse the picture! I qualified as a Refelxologist in 2000 at the British School of Reflexology, with Ann Gillanders, and have since become a Reiki,Thai Masseuse,Indian Head Masseuse, EFT & Daoyin Tao Practitioner and a Spiritual Healer. I am also an Australian Bush Flower Essence Practitioner and a Phytotherapist (healing qualities of plants) I studied with Bioforce, the A.vogle institute.
I specialise in Infertility and Maternity Reflexology, I find this area of Reflexology fascinating.
I am a member of the Daoyin Tao Association, The British School of Reflexology, the Complementary Therapist Association, Advanced Meridian Energy Therapies registered and a member of the National Federation of Spiritual Healers, and registered with the Complementary and Natural Health Care Council.
In my spare time, I am studying flower essences in more depth. I also give healing at Binfield memorial hall on a Tuesday afternoon, anyone can drop in, and only a donation is asked. This is a NFSH healing centre. I have attended many post graduate Reflexology & Daoyin Tao courses, and use Advanced Reflexology Techniques, trained by Mr Tony Porter himself, (a well known pioneer of Reflexology)
I have travelled extensively to the Far East & India to experience different holistic treatments herself, to gain a deeper understanding of other beliefs & ideas.
I really enjoy being a therapist and to see the physical & emotional progression of my clients is really rewarding. I passionately believe in all these therapies from my own healing experiences and I have witnessed some fantastic results. My healing style can be classed as truly customer focused. I draw on all my years of training and healing knowledge to give my clients a bespoke treatment. I focus on empowering people to tap into their own healing power. Maintaining optimum health is not a luxury but a necessity in today’s world. I feel quite sad when I hear people say ' i dont deserve a treatment this week,' or ' I have to put everyone first before me'. I belive everyone is very specical and owe it to themslves to keep their mind, body, spirit on form. If you can give yourself just one hour a week, or month then the benifits are boundless! and with the boundless feelings of wellbeing that you can receive, is that not benifical for your family, to give you even more strength to support them all?
I find all my clients a delight to work with see them as friends too. After years of practicing I have develpoed my own unique style. I feel like i go on a journey with each client,I am greatful and thankful to all my clients who are my teachers too!, without them i would not be where I am today. I worked for a well known airline as a flight attendant, for many years and developed many ailments. One of these was sinusitis. I was in so much pain. I continually had an infection and after trying other therapies I had a course of reflexology. Within a month or so the continual infection that I had cleared up! I realised there was more to reflexology than just a foot massage! I decided to train as a practitioner and then eventually after trying to juggle flying and being a therapist I hung up my wings!
The more in tune I was getting with my body the more I realised the life style, time changes and cabin environment was deeply affecting my health. I had a great time, visited some amazing places and experienced a lot of traditional holistic treatments. That time was very valuable and I am truly grateful for the knowledge I have now.
