Reflexology is a natural health science, which has its roots in ancient Egypt & China. It works on the principle that every organ and system of the body has a corresponding point or zone in the feet. This corresponding relationship is called a ‘reflex’. A reflex is when stimulation at one point brings about a response in another point or area by using special pressure techniques to stimulate the points on the feet and hands, imbalances in the tissues, organs and systems of the body can be both detected and effectively treated to restore balance and well-being.

Clinical Reflexology
Advanced Reflexology Techniques (ART) can be incorporated in to a full session or a shorter (30mins) ART treatment can be done. It is more effective at treating a long standing ailment or any imbalances in the body. Reflex systems are worked systematically. Results are quicker. It is a more invigorating treatment, increasing life force and adding zest to your lives! Two or three are recommended a week.
The ART techniques are more concentrated and generally deeper than the more orthodox approach. The ART techniques was pioneered by Mr Tony Porter who began his professional steps in natural therapy in 1972. If you research reflexology, you will see his name crop up many times with other reflexology pioneers such as Eunice Ingham, Dwight Byers and Anne Gillanders. Cleo has been fortunate enough to be trained by Ann Gillanders and in ART Techniques with Tony Porter
