Simple, pleasent method of healing. Great for stress reduction!
Reiki (pronounce ray-key) originates from Japan. Reiki translates as Universal life force, and is a technique used for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy, taking what life throws at us in our stride
While Reiki is spiritual in nature it is not a religion. It has no dogma, and there is nothing you must believe in order to learn it, use it or experience it. In fact Reiki is not dependant on a belief and will work whether you believe or not.
Reiki works on all levels, mental, spiritual, physical and emotional so the cause of the illness is being treated as well as the resulting illness. Generally it is extremely pleasant, simple holistic method of healing.
Cleo is also a Spiritual Healer and has also studied with the National Federation Of Spiritual Healers. Healing energises, mind, body and spirit and so its effects can be felt on many levels, not just the physical. Healing energy is all around us. In essence it is 'universal' - part of nature itself.
What is Spiritual about it?
Do I need to believe for it to work?
No, all that is required is for you to be open minded. It still works if your not. It is simply an exchange of healing energy from someone whose energy levels are strong to one whose energies are depleted. The healing energy does not come from the healer so it does not deplete them, it comes from universal energy ( known as 'Chi' or 'prana' in some countries').
Will I need to undress?
No. You remain fully clothed and sit in a recliner chair or massage table. The healer then places their hands lightly on different parts of the body (being respectful) or around the body in the 'aura'
